Rittenhouse defense attorney says he threw Tucker Carlson's film crew 'out of the room several times'
“I don’t think a film crew is appropriate for something like this but the people raising the money to pay for the experts and to pay for the attorneys were trying to raise money and that was part of it,” he said, noting it would be inappropriate for any outlet, not just Fox News.

Kyle Rittenhouse, the 18-year-old who shot and killed two men and wounded a third last year during protests of the police shooting of Jacob Blake, was found not guilty Friday of all charges by a Wisconsin jury.
One can argue about the particulars of the case, about the strength of the defense and the ham-handedness of the prosecution, about the outrageously unorthodox manner of the judge and the infantilizing of the defendant. But perhaps the most problematic Rittenhouse has emerged as a hero and cause célèbre on the right, with people donating to help him make bail and one Republican strategist telling Politico that he “could see a future in which Rittenhouse becomes a featured speaker at the conservative confabs where activists congregate.”aspect of this case was that it represented yet another data point in the long history of some parts of the right valorizing white vigilantes who use violence against people of color and their white allies.
The idea of taking the law into one’s own hands not only to protect order, but also to protect the order, is central to the maintenance of white power and its structures. The killers of Ahmaud Arbery on trial in Georgia are also vigilantes.

Bill is never going to be a red pill guy. But he is a classic liberal, not a leftist. Which is why there is a problem with the semantics. Once upon a time, most of the things we hold dear today, such as the recognition of the individual over the state were considered "liberal" ideas.
Bill has a LOT of flaws,... a lot.... but he does try to think for himself. And I can get along with liberals a lot better than I can with leftists. The commie, socialist, statist left is the end of all things good.
BTW, did you notice the signs most of the Rittenhouse protesters were carrying? Socialism now. No justice under capitalism.... Pure exploitation of the disenfranchised and ignorant. Be aware of who you're dealing with.
