probably not going to test them before they enter or exit since according to the WH it is the local municipalities responsibility.

The past is the past.

We will see how things play out. Record high inflation, mandates, and many other issues are going to make those who vote stop and think twice about voting the party line of late. The platform is that there is no platform. I think many now realize that with the current state of affairs.

Hopefully people open their eyes when given the opportunity to vote. Many saw the disaster coming, and have spoken about it, possibly the blind now see!

Saw the mayor speak about this.

Now let's see if he ACTUALLY does anything to fix it. As an aside, it was a big week of calls from folks leaving the city and heading south for many reasons, but this was one of the issues discussed, especially from the younger folks.

Interesting that usually these calls are from retiring folks moving away, weather etc. Nope - High 20-40 year old professionals, earning a very good living. These are the folks paying taxes. Being replaced by those NOT paying taxes or very little.

I think it will get worse.
 
Just listened to Mayor Adam’s ask the white house for help getting guns off the street of NYC. Why not ask the prosecutors office and NYPD to start arresting ALL criminals & prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law? Oh the irony. You can tell how much time this dude spent walking the beat.
