What's tragic is school is supposed to be a sanctuary for these kids. Have to find a way to make them impenetrable to the next madman.

If you want to go with the simplistic route of "Hey. Let's put armed guards at the schools". You're part of the problem.

To start with - we should not have to put armed personel on schools grounds. That's simply addressing the symptom. It's not addressing the cause.

obviously not - that's as stupid as suggesting armed security guards which history has shown don't work - I honestly don't have a cure all but I do know we ain't doing shit to stop it & it has to be stopped - we won't even pass a background check before anyone can buy a firearm -that bill's been stalled in the Senate for something like 2 years - I mean really - this the freakin' least we should be doing & we can't even do that

We are the only civilized country in the Western World where this shit keeps happening.

It still happens not just here If that kid went into that school knowing there were armed people in there Ill bet he would of made a different choice

Im not sure what side of the coin you are for or against
That is the EXACT reason why there should be more comprehensive background checks so a kid like that could have been slowed down from purchasing 2 firearms in the week before he did this
People with nothing to hide or are clean would pass and after a set timeframe could get what they want
