IMO, DJT is walking away from the Ukraine War because HIS original interest in the whole affair was for him to win a Nobel Peace Prize, like Teddy Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama. He has commented many times about the last 2 winners in his usual "LOSER" diatribes and hinting he should get one too.

If he had brokered a peace in 24 hours, or even a week or two after his inauguration, he probably would have stood a chance on this prize. However, he never figured that the key leaders would not kowtow to him.

IMO, the final nail in the coffin was that infamous Oval Office ambush of Zelensky. That certainly wasn't a demonstration of peaceful diplomacy. It was a classic example of DJT's strong suit, being a Playground Bully, which can be considered fine if done behind closed doors. Nobody on the Nobel Panel would want the world to think that public humiliation of a world leader is a trait for a Peace Prize recipient.

OK, argue away, but the fact remains that he has discussed Nobel Peace Prizes for former Presidents and how he'd like one.

The point was that grammatically the sentence refers to Putin's impotence.

A journalist would know better. A hack doing a biased hit-piece wouldn't.

Barack got it for being black 8 months in. WTF is internal diplomacy? How do win for just being in the fellow get-along-gang is how I read that (He’s Black) lol. Don’t matter, no one cares about it anymore. there is no honor in it. It’s like being a Rapper in rock or country hall of fame. It became a joke.
