Driving a truck is not rocket science, far from it. Regardless, all drivers should have a rudimentary understanding of the English language. Be careful what you wish for, even crop pickers need to have some basic understanding of the English as well, and we need them to pick our crops. We’re retested, FBI back ground check every few years, and bi-yearly physical. In NY it’s almost a given that you will lose your license because of the Albany DMV office not opening emails from physicals done. They fuck it up and we pay for it with a trip to DMV with Birth Certificate, and original SS card is mandatory but somehow it’s not for the brown short guys and Hajis.
