Yes, having lunch from da car does enhance da tastebuds, eating a few lobsters ? at a picnic table is the ultimate over indoor dinning... ? cellie...

.
We usually dine al fresco when we have lobstah.

Steam them in sea water in a propane turkey fryer rig, and then we sit down at the picnic along with a 5 gallon bucket on the ground for the shells. When all is done, table is cleared and then hose down the table, and I toss the shells off the dock, easy peasy...

I just had a dozen fresh caught Maine lobsta, the taste is so much better than here when they sit in a tank for a few days. It removes all the true briny flavors

Word. If I buy lobsters 6 hours or more before they're going into the pot, they get stored in a lobster crate hanging from the dock...

When some IL friends were visiting a few summers ago, we were went for dinner at a lobster co-op dock. Everyone was having lobster rolls, but I was in the mood for a big lobster. I asked if they had any 2 lbers and the lady said, "Let me check." She opened a window and yelled out to the boat unloading on the dock behind her, "Hey Joe!! You got a 2 lb lobstah aboard?" "Ahyup!"

My friend was bowled over, "Doesn't get any fresher than that, does it?"
