Had ordered a pie from the local Pizza Guy (local by way of NJ) & he gave me an eggplant parmesan.
"Accidently made two of 'em. Take it - it's yours."

Warm Italian Bread from you know who with a Parmesan/Basil Garlic Butter (also from you know who - both products)

Well I was presented with a -1 ft tide in daylight with temps in the high 20s°F in February, so instead of sitting around watching TV, I headed off to the Roccus River Bivalve Bonanza. Oysters on the half shell now and linguini with white clam sauce for dinner tonight.

Damn, I wish it that easy here.

Clams are clams, they're work up here with the added "fun" of lots of rocks on the clam flats.

The oysters are ridiculously easy. Just scoop them off the bottom in 1 ft of water. It's like shopping. "Hmm let's see I need a dozen jumbos for baking. Want 3 dozen for half shell tonight. Uggghhhh, there's a European one, that can stay (Not a fan of Balon oysters, too much of a flinty, metallic taste)!"

Damn, I wish it that easy here.

I've got it even easier - at 50 cents an oyster & 25 cents a clam I simply go to my local Fish Market & pick up what I want without getting wet or cold.

I really didn't taste it. Texture was a little crunchy more then anything. Just fits in the diet I'm doing as opposed to actual pasta which I miss dearly after trying this. HAHA
