rinse the cod before placing in tall pot of cold water, refreshed 3X since yesterday… cut into good size pieces, boil for a few moments, drain and toss wit cooked potatoes, onions, celery, spices, olive oil, crusty bread and green salad onda side… white wine too…

many recipes on line… cellfish…

I remember as a kid when my grandfather did the Seven Fishes for Christmas Eve, he would fry the baccala then after in the same pan fry up some scallions to serve with it.
chopped up i would thinks, that would make a nice topping, some lemon juice or white wine…

that Bacalla i bought was surprisingly inexpensive for its quality…

$7.00 #, double in weight when soaked, good deal… $10.00 elsewhere… cellfish…
