Rice Medley with Seaweed Salad
Glass of Red

Not as well done as the picture suggests. Neglected to change out the Olive Oil between batches..

W, I use canola oil, it has a higher smoking temp wit a neutral flavor… canola oil is a healthy oil too me think… cellie…

Mike - it was actually the panko bread crumbs that fell off the 1st 6 cakes - they were in the pan too long

I use canned salmon, the least expensive stuff for salmon cakes.. it’s a tricky thing frying em… it’s suggested to refrigerate the mix to cold, even overnight is ok… eggs keep it more together than the Mayo… cellfish…

I've had it once or twice - problem with a lot of those big leafy plants -supermarket sells them in such large bunches that I end up throwing a lot of it out as it goes wilty & bad before I can finish it - gotta remember I'm only cooking for one - do like it though for its appearance & its taste.

I trend to gravitate to smaller leaf products that I can use up fast.
Spinach
Radish Greens
Kale
Broccoli Rabe
