WILL U FREEZE THEM?Done died and gone to heaven. Back in August a fellow striper nut clued me in on the fact that the local wood-fired pizza joint did proper, boiled first then baked, bagels on Sunday morning. We avoid Town like the plague on weekends until after all the tourists leave, but now that they're gone, I decided to check the bagels out this morning.
The wait was worth it, as I brought home a baker's dozen of culinary ecstasy, proper bagels with a soft, moist inside, covered with a crispy, yet chewy crust. Looks like I have a new Sunday morning ritual...
