JACK, here’s da recipe…

BUCKWHEAT… whole grain… Wollfs Kasha mostly available in domestic markets… i enjoy the imported brands from Russia, available in ethnic markets…

very large onion
2 box button mushrooms ,
soil dusted off, sliced big…
Egg Noodles, cooked separately…

in tall pot, oil, sliced onions, toss a few moments, add mushrooms and toss 2 minutes or so… add KASHA and toss a few moments so everything is mixed up nicely… salt & pepper too…

add half quart of water , bring to boil, add another half quart of water, bring to boil and reduce heat to half… cook 20-25 minutes… if it seems to dry add more water…

let stand a while, mix wit egg noodles..

tin of Sardine onda side… scallions sprinkled on both…

regards to Mary… cellfish…

some boiled beef and veggies onda side are good too… C22…
