I am about 80% back to normal health. Doc cleared me for light fishing starting tomorrow. Tuna, Swordfish and Mahi are out . Striped bass, blackfish,ocean bottom fishing ok.I need to get my friend Song some fresh fish so he can make me some more nice fresh fish soup. He managed tonight at his restaurant to use the last of the sea bass I gave him that he froze some weeks back . He thawed it out yesterday and I had dinner with him tonight. The sides were great as usual kimchi, fish flakes, etc.. Entree was the fish soup of sea bass, calamari, octopus, mussels, prawns, baby clams, bay scallops, scallions and rice vermicelli. I had a big appetite and put a bowl of Korean sticky rice in for good measure. I ate every scrap and sucked down all the fish broth. Tomorrow I will have a blackfish adventure somewhere off Jersey on a friend's boat. Tog makes a great fish soup too. Yum.
