When you have the urge

With my boat under wraps and Frank Sr and Frank Jr doing a work private charter out of Montauk. Had no plans for the day so I jumped on the JJ out of Huntington. Not a party boat fan but when we want to fish we do what we have to. We all know when fishing certain species there are key spots to be on a party boat. I was pretty close to where I wanted to be. I did good with lots of fish but my keepers were not in my favor. I managed a keeper sea bass and a keeper blackfish. The two gentlemen to my left did a little better than me, as far as keepers go. I managed to win the pool with a beautiful 21.5 “ male. Turned out to be a nice day after a steady north breeze in the morning. And by the way Frank and Frank did very well with sea bass on their charter. Will be out Sunday and Monday.
