The Yankees got a few off Verlander in game 2...its not crazy to think they can get the better of him this time around.
If they do win, then hopefully that confidence carries on to the next game in Houston. I like playing away...once the crowd is out of it, it makes comebacks twice as hard, and away team confidence grows even more.
Now yes, Cole beat them...but maybe seeing him twice in such a short time span helps them get over the hump. I don't know if they save him for game 7, or pitch him in game 6 on regular rest. If I was running that show..save him for 7, if need be..no game 7, then he is game 1 of the WS.
In the end, the Yanks just need to play ALOT better defense, maybe a hit or two with runners on, and win their next game.
