Yankee Stadium Parking

going next month for a weeknight game. was hoping to self park in a garage or lot somewhere near the stadium. any recommendations?

During the weeknight, I try to park on the street on Grand Concourse or one of the side streets right around there. Its a five minute walk to the stadium from there, its free and there are no lines to get out. If I do park using the stadium parking lots, I like to use the lots on the other side of the Deegan, past the old Stadium. You have to use the RailRoad overpass to walk to it. It's still $30+ but the crowds and lines out aren't bad. Good luck!

Thanks Allykat. I noticed there was a self park garage around 153rd near a Home Depot. I know when I worked doing background investigations I used to find a spot daytime on the Concourse a few blocks north of the courts but wife just got a brand new car and we are both a bit paranoid, lol.

I thought about the GCP but will be going past LaGuardia about 3 or so...

either way I wanted to avoid the XBronx- bad enough when we go to the zoo mid mornings.

Well, the Yanks got clobbered 19 to 5 the night we went but everything else went pretty well, lol. Took the Northern State to the Throgs Neck, then the Bruckner to the Deegan and off at exit 3, Grand concourse. Got to the Concourse Village parking lot on 161st in well under 90 minutes from Matzahpizza- bad part was the gate didn't open for an hour ! But spothero.com got me five bucks off the garage and I paid about $25. to self park amongst the stores. Walked right in to Monument Park, no line. Saved a few bucks by bringing in two sealed Poland Spring waters. Got to see the Yankees Museum too. When exiting the lot, one goes down to the basement garage which exits on Morris Avenue- zipped down to 144th, over to the Grand Concourse, back on Deegan, Bruckner, Throgs Neck and home even quicker than coming. Thanks for the advice guys !
