And here’s to reason that 50 percent of the population is refusing to get the shot

especially heath care workers

like me , like a lot of us
They have been out and about since the beginning some using ppe and distancing
Others not
But the non scientific evidence is in , and many many ppl don’t see the need to take a rushed vaccine

just getting that out there pre band wagon

it’s not selfishness
It’s certainly not stupidity

it’s simple a matter of having really lived life during this time and not being under a rock

please commence with the slings and arrows

IF they are ok with living behind a mask and social distancing or not living with PPE and just being lucky they don't come in contact with anyone infected fine!! That's what the science says..no contact no virus.

Today was supposed to be a good day. Its New Years eve. My dad retired today. Then we get the news that my wife tested positive for Covid. A few of us in the house haven't been feeling great. Nothing crazy just under the weather. So as a joke I said "someone better go get tested". My wife went and got tested yesterday.
Got an email at 6pm tonight that she is positive. My son, both sisters, nephew and niece and myself are now sitting at urgent care getting tested.
I'm only worried about my mom, dad and uncle. The rest of us other young people should be OK. Im taking all of them to urgent care in the morning. Just keep my loved ones in your thoughts.
So update. Most of you know I love in a house with a lot of people. Mom and Dad, uncle Tom, Stephanie, Johnny, Thomas and Sam, Stevie, Sebastian and myself. My niece Ava is here for winter break.
So with that said we all went and got tested waiting on results for the rest of us. Most of us are having mild symptoms nothing crazy. But last night my Dad went down hill fast. I brought him to the ER, they took him in right away. They tested him there he is positive for the virus. Spoke to him this afternoon he is feeling better, breathing better. He will be there for a few days but whatever they are doing is working. So please just keep him in your prayers. Thank you to everyone for reaching out. I love you all.

He assumes they will all test positive but it does seem that the hospitals can treat it better now

I guess you really have no idea how many ppl are living without following many if any protocols

Not sure if we would be predisposed to catch it or are all but immune. Why take the chance if we only were forced to postpone a vacation or two, and can only see the inlaws on Zoom? Will take the 1200 bucks and spread it around a lot of our favorite "go to" restaurants for takeout, starting tonight. Put my mask on in the parking lot, yank it off as I exit the door. Been doing that since April. So far so good. Newyorkistan still number one (in deaths) but Kalifornia and Tejas trying to catch up.

Yes , I do.... I also wonder if the Swine flu was tracked and tested for when it was rampant and things were running amuck,, what would those numbers look like...who knows....the Government did not react or move to action at all.

So I heard about the Kent strain (UK) now I’m hearing about the South African strain. Dom care to weigh in on this one? I’m guessing it’s just a new mutation of the original strain. Any more virulent then the original?
