Cooking for the wife tomorrow and that converts to my ass in a chair watching TV while meatballs & sausage cook in sauce for hours.

Mother’s Day.... we miss our Mothers.
And our Dogs who were our Boys.

She was a good Mother to them.

Finally relaxing. Headed outside at 06:00 to finish up pre-season yard duties, after mowing the lawn and planting 13 trees yesterday...

Today's task was "Tick Abatement". Found 2 dog ticks IN the house the other day, and since we have no pets, it means that they hitchhiked on me. None stuck to me, guess I'm not "tasty enough" for them.
Broke out the Triazicide and put it down full-strength on all the wood/lawn boundaries, path down to the dock, firepit, hammock area, and then 1/2 strength on bulk of the lawn, leaving only the leach field lawn untreated. If I start seeing them during my weekly tick surveys, it will get hit too.

The kids bought me an Apple watch for Christmas so I told it I was taking an "Outside Walk". Turns out I walked 2.5 miles behind the spreader. I guess my sarcastic comment to my doc that I ascribe to the "5 Acre Yard Care Exercise Plan" isn't so far-fetched after all...
