Guess I will forego leaving the inlet in my twelve and a half foot kayak, lol. Who am I kidding I never am more than a stone's throw from all the million dollar homes...
 
LARRY has become a hurricane. If this hits the NYC metro area looking around Wednesday or Thursday. Can only hope it Goes out to sea. Next update when Larry becomes a major hurricane or watches or warnings are issued.

Ida did severe damage to NJ and NYC. record rainfall in central park over 7 inches of rain. Sewage backup in queens. Subway service suspended indefinitely. NYC and NJ are underwater.

Limited subway service. 7.14 in central part. That all came between 10 and 11pm last night.

Aw c'mon! Half of my yucks around here are misspellings and grammar faux pas, although I'm sure there are many K-12 English teachers out there cringing or turning in their graves!!

This disturbance has a 30 percent chance in the next five days. The reason I updated this is Louisiana is in the cone of uncertainty. They don't need anymore rain at this point.
