What no West Hampton Parade??

Back in the distant past, when the Quogue Canal held flounder in the early spring and you had to clear the ice out of your guides it was so cold, the parade stood in the way of me getting to the ramp. I told my crew, who were all wearing our fishing club jackets to get into the boat so we could be in the parade!!
They got in and waved to the cheering crowd as we navigated down the parade route until we turned off for the ramp...

A parade and a nice flounder dinner, one great day!!

Joe Rogan calls his use of N-word in resurfaced clips 'regretful and shameful' and says he hasn't used the word in years: Podcaster has also 'decided to remove numerous past episodes' from Spotify

  • Rogan, 54, has been under fire in recent weeks from progressives and others in favor of canceling the Joe Rogan Experience host's $100million deal
  • The temperature was turned up further when Grammy-winning R&B singer India Arie posted problematic clips Friday afternoon

  • Rogan, in an Instagram video posted early Saturday, responded to the resurfaced clip by admitting 'it looks f---king horrible. Even to me'
  • The UFC commentator promised the video consisted of 'out of context' bits from his long-running show, but said the video is ' regretful and shameful'
  • The comedian argued that he was fascinated by the slur and often used it when quoting standup routines from the likes of Red Foxx and Lenny Bruce
  • Rogan wrapped up the nearly six-minute clip apologizing three times in hopes that his video would be a 'teachable moment'

Separatist leader says full-scale war in east Ukraine could break out any time

DONETSK, Ukraine (Reuters) - A Russian-backed separatist leader in eastern Ukraine said on Monday that full-scale war could break out there at any time and his forces might need to turn to Moscow for support.

Denis Pushilin, head of the breakaway Donetsk People's Republic, said there was a high likelihood of a war that would bring huge casualties, although it would be "madness" to embrace such a conflict.

"First of all we rely on ourselves, but we do not rule out that we will be forced to turn to Russia if Ukraine, with the support of Western countries, passes a certain line," he told Reuters in an interview in his fortified office.

Pushilin declined to give a clear answer when asked about the likelihood or desirability of Russia recognising his breakaway territory as an independent state, as some deputies in the Russian parliament are urging President Vladimir Putin to do.
He said it would be "selfish" to focus only on the separatist regions and ignore the interests of ethnic Russians in other parts of Ukraine.

Without providing evidence, he said there was a "constant threat of military actions" on the Ukrainian side, and clear signs of active preparations.

Ukraine has repeatedly denied Russian accusations that it is planning to take back the breakaway regions by force.

Investing.com - What to do if Iran ever becomes a major problem to the oil rally has always been on the mind of longs in the market.

Now, the question is resurfacing with greater urgency as Washington approaches its final opportunity to rein in Tehran’s nuclear plan with a carrot that will allow the Mullahs to legitimately put their oil exports back on the market.

New York-traded West Texas Intermediate settled down 99 cents, or 1.1%, at $91.32 per barrel on Monday, after reaching a 2014 high of $93.17 on Friday. Prior to the slide, WTI had risen seven weeks in a row for a 30% gain.

“WTI could go down to between $85 and $82 if we continue getting positive headlines on the Iran talks,” said John Kilduff, partner at New York energy hedge fund Again Capital.
