We hear you but its a question of not missing out on what Europe offers. I almost laughed in a friend’s face when she ignorantly announced “the French hate us.” We found it just the opposite, dutch, greeks and germans too. Only been to Venice so far in Italy. Then again with my tdy trips with my job i realized how much new yorkers suck

I agree about the newyorkers

but I guess I’ll be missing out
At least until the misses drags me across the pond

the places I’d like to go are just to damn far to even concider, and most of them have lost their luster for me anyway

Lots of awesome places right here in the good ole US OF A TO VISIT
 
To each his own. But we ran out of top spots in the us compared to what Europe offers. Every American should visit Omaha Beach, not just the Eiffel Tower, the Vatican, the Acropolis, Venice etc. We loved Yellowstone, Alaska, Oahu, Tetons, Mt Rushmore etc and for our limited history, Virginia, DC, Gettysburg, etc

Every American should visit all the awesome places the USA has to offer
 
To each his own. Not being Native American we enjoy the countries where we came from. Appalachia and arkansas do have cheaper hotels though

Having a steak in Argentina, a Pizza in Naples, tacos in Mexico, beer in Belgium are all things I found better than made here!

Some stick with what's inside the box and never venture outside of it. New things can be scary. Missing out on a lot.

Would love to attend Octoberfest in Germany! Someday.....
