The never ending chat thread, chat about anything That your up too

I'm having all sorts of expensive crap happen all of a sudden. They just towed my truck up to Chevy in Pokemoke City Maryland.

Had just finished taking down my banana trees, loaded them up into the truck bed & was on my way to the dump to gey rid of them & all sorts of lights came on.
  • Power Reduced to Engine
  • Engine Light
  • StabilTrack (no idea what that is)
  • T/C (no clue there either)
  • Sport Mode Light indicating it's been disabled(??) - didn't know I had a "sports mode"
Truck didn't seem to want to come out of first gear & it wouldn't go over 30MPH. Got it back in the driveway & had to unload the banana ress I put in the bed,

This is becoming an expensive month - more then the normal expensive December.

Just got the call from Chevy on the truck. Rodent dmage. Some damn critter ate my wiring in the engine!!

$920 to repair..................

Why do they want to eat wires
?
because they have to constantly be chewing on something

Rats eat wires and cause property destruction because their teeth are constantly growing. This is similar to claws on cats; since they are constantly growing, they have to be dealt with on a regular basis. By chewing on wires, rats get rid of the pain and they also keep their teeth in great shape.

Well guy and his mechanic showed up at 8:00 this morning and removed the plow connection’s from my truck. It was so cold the mechanic put my plow on his truck to go to the new plow owner’s house to install it on his truck so he didn’t have to stand out in the cold.
Better for me, they gone and I got to put all my stuff back in the work driveway.

Just finished shucking my bivalve inventory left over from last New Moon (oysters) and Full Moon (clams). Got a bit hungry doing it so kept some out of the freezer for a quick batch of Oyster Stew...
