Paulie's in Montauk closing

As per a post on his FB page, he's had enough of the change in Montauk and is closing up. No details on when, etc. but it's truly end of an era. Except possibly for a small shop in the marina, that's the last fishing shop in Montauk. I remember when it was Freddy's, and it was always a spot to catch a conversation on the porch and to pick up something forgotten or lost. Good luck in what comes next Paulie!

Who would have thought you'd hear that there would be no fishing shops on Montauk.

I read "Dark Noon". I was amazed at the amount of fisherman that would go to Montuak.

I assume that does not happen any more.

Who would have thought you'd hear that there would be no fishing shops on Montauk.

If developers have their way, might not be a marina in Montauk in the next 10 years.
