I was wondering where you guys were hiding. As a superstitious fan, I’ve held off on starting a 2024 Yankees thread—clearly, that strategy hasn’t worked.
So, I’m calling on the NYAngler juju to turn the tide!
Let’s go, Yankees!
Nonsense!been a fan during the horendous years of Horace Clarke, Andy Cosko, Jake Gibbs as well as at the end of Mickey's years.
This has been a horror show, but it started during the summer months, had a brief respite when the Orioles also unraveled, and pitiful since September. The Royals andIndians/Guardians must be thinking and rightfully so how much better they would be doing.
Nah..... doesn't have the same effect as LFGM.lets go NYY!!
That's an interesting take.........I just think after Judge dropped the routine fly ball, the team got REALLY tight. Mental stress causes physical mistakes.I'm not saying it was and I'm not saying it wasn't. But this whole series had a bad ring to it. Last night especially just seemed like the BlackSox scandal revisited. How do you have a fifth inning like that? Judge never misses a fly ball like that. And on a grounder to first, how does Cole just stand there and point to first base? It just seems like ever since there was so much legalized gambling in sports, the games have all had a strange odor to them. Call me a conspiracy theorist if you like but last night especially seemed like a pre-arranged dive. And BTW, I couldn't care less who won and who lost. I'm a Mets fan with no use for the Yankees and a hatred for the Dodgers ever since they left Brooklyn.
