I'm a bachelor and the Chief Cook and Bottle Washer of my domain. I do all my own cooking, cleaning and laundry as well as lawn mowing and brake changes. If you're not a bachelor, you can be one too. If you are married and leave your holiday shopping until the last minute, you have to get your wife one of these for Christmas. It's a Tineco 2 vacuum and floor washer. The first floor of my house has wood and tile floors. I used to wash and dry them on my hands and knees. A girl friend, recommended one of these. I'm not into devices unless they catch fish think Popeil's Pocket Fisherman. I am very particular on how my wood floors are cleaned (perhaps that's the reason I'm now single) but I have to say, this thing is fantastic. Checkout the videos online. They are not lying, it works. So, with that, buy one for the wife and put a Christmas bow on it. There will be one of two reactions. She will love you for your thoughtfulness or she will throw all of your fishing gear in the canal. I'm hoping for the love you. I'm truly amazed how good this thing works.

Nice, but I still value my decrepit body enough to NOT buy her a vacuum cleaner for Christmas. If she follows thru with what I think her reaction would be, it'll be tough to do my boat's Spring prep from a full-traction bed.

Buuut - I COULD get it for myself - and then ask if my wife would like to give it a spin.

Ever read Tom Sawyer? I did - and learned from his proper "marketing" to his friends of his fence painting chore - they ended up not only painting the fence for him, but enjoyed doing it. Huh, now that I think about it, maybe that's why I chose sales as my lifelong career.

I would have to buy it for myself. If I wanted to live in the house.

My wife would never go for the "would you like to try it out" trick. Not for a second. If I suggested taking it for spin, I'd be the one spinning.

I got mine off Amazon. It can be purchased for less from places like Walmart. Watch some of the videos if you are interested. I'm very critical of gadgets. This is truly worthwhile if you have a lot of tile and wood floors.

Hmmm. I just did the basement stairs, cellar carpets and upstairs wood floors with a Dyson while SWMBO made sauce. I then went out back and browned the sausage. It was 23 flipping degrees out there !! Merry Christmas all !!
