Raked the front yard yesterday before the showers came in. Trying to get some dead grass up and fluffing up the grass for the sun. Today mowed to clean up any lingering leaves from the fall. Getting ready to throw down some product in a few weeks when Temps rise and need to spot seed some small areas.

Anyone have a north facing house and deal with moss along the fence lines? I heard add lime to kill acidity and maybe sand to help drainage?? Then reseed.

Moss usually grows in low light conditions and moist areas. Try shade seed or plant Hosta or pachysandra in that area

Yea I was thinking of shade seed.

Just added compost, manure and peat moss and turned over the vegetable garden. All ready for planting
