Another Braid-to-Leader Knot that's pretty straightforward

Though I stick with the PR Bobbin Knot for my blackfishing braid to shock leaders, I cannot do the "bobbin thing" on the water. If by some happenstance I do lose my leader, then this is a knot I would consider tying whilst bobbing around out there. What I never use is the Double Uni, as I've had those fail while pulling free from snags. Anyways, check this out:

Might be difficult pulling this off on the water. That bench seems to be the stabilization factor keeping everything tight.
 
Maybe it's the heavier line he's using but under tension, that bulky lead knot is going to get caught up on tip.

I'm partial to FG knot. On the fly I'll tie a uni to uni as long as I don't need to cast.
 
Have you tried the PR Bobbin Knot? Faster than the FG and stronger as well, from personal experience.
