A pair of wood ducks just landed in one of my trees. So weird to see ducks land in a tree!! Hope they decide to nest in one of the many pileated woodpecker holes...

Just saw a Scarlet Tanager poking around in one of the trees close to the house. Pretty little bird, never seen one before, and even nicer that I see all my "critters" au naturale, no need to "bait" anything with feed, they all just mosey on by here...

Now I need to spot the porcupine that's been chewing on the Admiral's Beloved Poplars so I can channel Elmer and shoot that sucker...
