Simple job if you know what your doing obviously they didnt

so..............

I spent the weekend at my brother's place in Richmond. When driving there on Friday - as I approched the
toll gates for the Chesapeake Bay Bridge & Tunnel I see an array of what looked like unmarked Police Vehicles straddling the toll plaza. As I got closer I saw that they were ICE vehicles.

They were pulling vehicles over.

One agent approached my car gesturing to roll down my window. I refused to comply.
I yelled through the window "why are you stopping me?"

"It's a random search for undocumented aliens."
"Do I look Hispanic or Haitian?"
"No."

"Do you think I'm hiding one in my trunk?"
"So why are you doing this?"
"I need to see some identification."
"Why?"
"Because I do."
"Can I see yours then?"

Because my car insurance is high enough already & I don't want to pay for a broken window - and to be honest - I was beginning to get REAL nervious as a second agent came up to the car - I pulled out my driver's license & put it up against the window .

He attempted to photograph it at which point I pulled it away from the window.

"I need to photograph it - put it back up."
"No you don't."
"We're done here."

At which point I pulled a Renee Good & joined 2 other cars & drove around him hoping the asshole doesn't shoot.

This is out of control......

Nothing like a Shakespearen actor to put it in perspective..

First of all if this is true, then you’re nuts just do what you told when they pull you over or stop you and then you’ll be on your merry way

they no had NO right to pull me over - I was breaking no law

The Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution protects individuals against unreasonable searches and seizures by the government, generally requiring a warrant based on probable cause. It ensures the right to privacy in persons, houses, papers, and effects. While warrantless searches are often deemed unreasonable, exceptions exist, including consent, searches incident to arrest, and exigent circumstances.

as a matter of fact I was slowing down to take care of the toll...

they were there the end of January - right side of the page

continued

they were also there on my way home this afternoon....

....

They ignore it for DWI checkpoints, they'll ignore it for this too. But I'll bet you think it's okay when they're looking for drunks.

if I'm drunk and showing signs of being drunk & showing signs of inebriation in my driving (you know - probable cause?)- fine - & if it's actully law enforcement - not a bunch of wannabees with no regard for upholding the law just randomly cornholing drivers to see if they can get a "catch"...
