Just watched "War Machine" with Alan Richson followed by "Jurassic, Rebirth". both mindless, improbable but jolly good fun. War Machine a "Predator" ripoff but Jurassic was much better than the third movie in the series, leaving out Dern and Neill and giving us Scarlett J and Marshala Ali (True Detctive).

saw Juassic (mindless but entertaining) - I'll go looking for the other

Never read it. But I do suspect the movie was only loosely based on the story.

I'm not a fan either, but the guy has been quite successful.
