BTW, there's nothing in the cited NYTimes article showing the numbers in the graph, it's more about NYC & NYS complaining about how the numbers are figured.

Yes, I check every damn graph on this subject, especially when 2 different graphs from the NY Times seem to say the opposite things...

Exactly, that's why I want to see the source data. It's like the classic headline, "Eat too much toffee and you'll increase your chances of left toe cancer 100%!" Turns out to be true, but meaningless when you find out your odds of getting left toe cancer are 1 in 10 million so if you eat toffee, you've reduced the odds to 1 in 5 million.

Let me be perfectly clear, COVID-19 is no "left toe cancer". It is an extremely contagious and in certain cases, a very deadly virus. Anyone who wants to roll the dice, and roll back all the controls, be my guest. I just don't to hear them bemoan the fact that their Granny, Sister, and/or Child died from it after controls are lifted...
