the "What are you doing NOW" thread (part deux)

When boaters have to modify their jargon for landlubbers, civilized life as we know it, has gone out the scuppers...

Do you have dedicated, and how many, for that puppy??

dedicated what and how many what ? A separate bank account and dollars .... because that was almost necessary.

No shade in the Asphalt Jungle...

done with the wood pile - all split & stacked in the wood shed - now I have to build an extension on the shed to accommodate the stuff that's not "Stove Burnable But Suited for the Fire Pit".

I usually have some pieces that are just too big or gnarly for the stove& can mostly fit them in & around the shed. But this time I seem to have more then usual needing their own "shed".

I'm getting too old for this stuff. Doing this in 90 degree weather in the sun is a killer.

Almost fully stocked. usually burn a little over 2 cords. The shed with both sides full is 2 cords. So I'll need another delivery at some point. Probably January.

Where "the Extension" is going to go. Between the existing shed & that thar tree.

Now for my first brew & then a shower.

Did you ever consider a pellet stove?

Not really. I like feeding wood into the stove & when I bought this, no one was selling pellet stoves here on the Shore. As a matter of fact there was only one stove dealer on the Shore near the Maryland border. They've since closed.

Also like to see "the flames" through the door. I don't believe pellet stove really "flame". Could be wrong on that. I've never actually seen one burning.

Your not getting to old to be doing that , you are too old. Pay someone to do it for you, and relax

Making breakfast then going to my supplier to make sure I have enough products to work next week they’re close to vacation all next week then when I get home I’m gonna build a giant puzzle with bluestone slates and then spread the sand and level them out at least I won’t be sweating in the rain

I go down Tasley Road frequently. Never noticed a Stove Merchant. I'll have to look for them. You planning on putting in a stove?
