Hope so, he drives a 2012 VW Golf lowered, the silly thing is about 3" above the road. I can't get in or out of the thing, come to think of it, possibly that was his plan

Looks like to get the endorsement requires an appearance at the DMV, which is the same as a sharp stick in the eye, high on my list of things to avoid.
I guess it depends on how hard you work it. My Chevy 1500 has the 5.2 & tows my 21' boat with ease, a little over 7,000 pounds. Looking at the numbers of the 4 cylinder turbo that Chevy offers in the truck they are about the same as the 8 cylinder, but the 4 would be working to the max every tow.
That deal is almost too good to be true, & you are correct, it would make a great gift for my bride……..only problem is I wouldn’t be able to close my eyes, or turn my back to her ever again.
