Used to fish there when I lived in Locust Valley. Now there is no where to park....love the town for making it impossible to fish. But the bite was always good - there were night I would catch on almost every cast
Green Island Trip:
Got out early, made Green island by 6:30 walked down the pier to the Eastern side and walked right into a BLITZ of Bluefish! Snapped on a 1/4oz 007 with a white tail and proceeded to catch 3, 8-10lb fish before they disappeared and popped up to far away to keep casting...
Had a lot of fun at field 10 east pier at Jones this morning (7:45-10:45) just couldn't stop catching those short Sea Bass.
