An attempt at discussing the impact of fishing and hunting in NYS if the current governor leaves and/or removed from office quickly became infected by TDS. Hoping it can stay on track because it is a fishing site and that was an interesting concern with possible ramifications for the hunting and fishing community!

I have found that both parties are favorable to anglers and hunters. It's a matter of letting them know what you support. I do think that this will put us on the back burner for a bit.

The best possible outcome for anglers would be Lee Zeldin. He has always supported recreational anglers and we have always supported him. Our Governor has also showed us support. I just can't see him surviving this.

I'm hoping this thread doesn't blow up and much more importantly I catch some big fluke this weekend.

Seems all politicians in NY are corrupt, democrats especially, do as we say but not as we do. Everyone should bring 2 cinder blocks every time you go to a reef to fish and drop then. On the same spot every time they cost about 3 bucks each if we all did this the reefs would be amazing and not too snaggy

dont think he's going anywhere his Lawyer is in TV poking holes in the criminal findings...Just think if they had him on tape saying he did it ?

I was listening to the same thing earlier today. She was challenging that there was not an open minded fact finding process, etc. Blah blah blah. Excellent spin in a bad situation, had to be done to slow the tide. Executive 1 filed a formal complaint. Interesting strategy. Like a good chess match. Looking for a photo op with hand cuffs, whether or not it sticks. The damage would help along the strategy of removal. Still comes down to how many favors can be called in to make it "go away". We shall see.

Glad the reefs are safe, and hopefully many more can be created.

The Lt. Gov. is just like Kirsten Gillebrand. She represented Western NY as a Moderate, had NRA support and changed after Cuomo made her his running mate. Worst case scenario we'll have somebody similar to Cuomo and she'll support Hunting and Fishing. She won't win her primary if she runs again. The Democrat party wants a far left candidate who will be a disaster for sportsmen. All of us should be concerned because this is a power play by radicals to oust semi moderate Cuomo ( here and there he was moderate with business taxes, didn't let the far left push too far with gun control etc.. ) , Democrats have super majorities in the State Senate and Assembly and can really hurt us if they wanted to. A Far Left Gov. would be a disaster for us sportsmen. Republicans have to pick their best candidate to win . Pray for Divided Gov't in NY.
