Back yard critters

that’s nice not going cellular, Remember da PORCUPINE Ass’assin… cellfish…
Pine Pigs, Dead Rodent Walking at Chez Roccus per the order of The Admiral, seconded by all local dog owners...

Apparently they're getting smarter, this year only 2 notches were added to the old .410, although some neighbors have complained about seeing more than usual.

Stupidest one, that definitely deserved to be removed from the gene pool, was dining in the Admiral's beloved poplar trees in the middle of the afternoon a few years ago, tossing his discarded branches down on top of me who was cutting the grass, I swear to Poseidon. Guess who got off the lawn mower and immediately picked up the .410??

OK Deer Hunters, is this a Big-Azz Bambi print or a Baby Bullwinkle? That's my size 12 hoof in the shot...

You know they get upwards of 350 lbs the further north you get. Largest for me on the island was right at 218 and that was dressed. I’d vote on whitetail, your yard is wet for dew claws to be so prominent in pic.

Yes yard very wet and there is a big-azz doe that's been hanging around. I've been told on other sites it's not big enough for Bullwinkle so I'd agree with deer without a visual confirmation, although there has been a moose sighted in the area.

Maybe our Animal Medical Examiner, @CELLFISH can solve this riddle. Found this avian raptor carcass in the yard today. Been gone over 2 weeks so I have no idea how long it's been sitting around.

I'm leaning towards Barred Owl, with a Cooper's Hawk as a distant 2nd place guess. Anyone have some ideas?
