Two blocks away from the guys house in Jersey I almost hit a black Bear as it ran right in front of my truck, thankfully I wasn’t towing the camper yet or I couldn’t have. Stopped in time

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I heard that the 2 of you, along with another NYA rider, are about to embark on a journey to another New England state with a sizeable moose population.

All three of you better consider meeting a moose on the road and the biggest difference between moose and deer besides size, is that moose's eyes do NOT light up at night in your headlight!!

Holy Crap!

about 5 minutes ago a Bald Eagle took off with a rabitt in my backyard.............................

Swooped in out of nowhere. Varmint probably never knew what took it. (supposition on my part of course).

A rare sighting much like Doves and bunny rabbits Jenn took this rare photo of a wild critter on a flower in the yard I believe its a rare Amazonian (from the rain forests) Bee but I could be wrong

just had a young (very young) squirrel walk up to me (literally) and place his/her front paws on my leg - like he/she wanted me to pick him/her up - we stayed that way for a good 3 minutes or so - just looking at each other

4 dead baby birds in the back yard tonight. 2 blue jays two doves. Found 1 and thought nothing of it. Then 1 hour later 3 more on the grass not too far from the first, but never saw them. Big wtf. I did see sone adult birds chasing crows the other day, and I’m pretty sure my dog didn’t get to them.
Not sure what is going on maybe too hot lack of food and water moms let them starve ???

I had three fledglings in my backyard last week dead. Most of the time they fall out of the nest and can’t survive much longer after that.

Saw a blue jay attacking a sparrow in the middle of the road last week, sparrow was losing badly.
Never saw that before.
