Hmmmm... Been seeing a pair of eagles flying close to the house the past couple of days. Wonder if they're nesting in the hood or they're just hanging around to hassle the ospreys that have returned?

I saw this kid,looked to be about 19...he had these huge long blue, green, yellow dyed spikes of hair coming up out of his head at least 12” high. The dude had a pierced nose, lips, eye browses, cheek, ears all filled with bling! I couldn’t help but to stare a bit at him...
Well, the dude caught me looking and he was like with attitude...looked at me back and may have murmured, lose something?
I was caught!! I’d had no choice but to apologize..
I said to him, I’m very sorry sir, but I once made love to a Peacock and I was just wondering if maybe you were my son!!. ?

was just out weeding the front garden that surrounds my porch & ended up getting "dive bombed" by a pair of Orioles that built a nest in birdhouse I have there.......

Little suckers were p & didn't want me finish in that area.
I obliged & retreated..........

Thank Poseidon we don't have Peacocks in these parts, indigenous birds noisy enough and it's a real cacophony out there this morning, gulls, osprey, bald eagles, crows, blue jays, chickadees, robins, geese, turkeys, great blue herons, etcs, and then a rumbling close to the house that had me do a quick, WTF??? After I regained my composure I realized it was the drumming of a Ruffed Grouse. He got away before I could snap a picture...
