I have not seen any on line charts or tables that list high and low tide alongside times of slack water. You need to look them up seperately.

I have a copy of Eldridge with me always. Some interesting articles about tides in there and lots and lots of other useful information other than just tides and currents. It is well worth getting a copy and reading through. They are less than $20.00 at many marine stores or on Amazon.

I'm pleasantly surprised at that, especially since my 2 nieces who went to Annapolis back around 2005 DID NOT have to take Celestial Navigation!!!!!!!

I was literally shocked when I asked them if they bought their copy of Bowditch and a nice sextant. Within the past couple of years the Navy finally saw the STUPIDITY of that omission and now it's back on the course listings.

Way too much faith in electronics these days. It will be a source of sorrow sometime...

Speaking of which, my GPS does show current and tides, but there are so few reporting stations around here, it's virtually worthless...

Modern Chartplotters do contain a wealth of information but there are certain pieces of data I can only find in my copy of Eldridge. If you want to unlock a few of those secrets you should listen to the podcast I recorded with George on Blackfish a few weeks ago.
One more thing about the Tide Pilot. In my over 55 years at the fishing game I have seen published tide data from other sources for the same day, and time at the same spot vary, sometimes by more than an hour. The one source I find that is always "dead nuts on" is Eldridge. How does the old saying go "Don't leave home without it"!!
