Now you are making me think. Is it 832 on the 150?PowerPro for conventionals, but doesn't cut it for spinning reels. I use Sufix Advantage 832 on those.
832 on the Clash 4000, 30 lb test, not for the strength but its diameter is similar to 8 lb Stren, just about the thinnest stuff these old, fat fingers can tie a knot in while fish are breaking around me...Now you are making me think. Is it 832 on the 150?
I think I have that on a few of the smaller bay fluke spinning rods.
832 is on the 150 and the other fluke spinners. I guess I purged the Power Pro.Now you are making me think. Is it 832 on the 150?

@wader How do you like fireline compared to power pro or sufix when it comes to tying it to a mono leaderFireline
Its nice when you want to tie a windon leaderInteresting question. I have never tied directly to mono, only to a swivel and then to mono.
same here - could never get it to work properlyInteresting question. I have never tied directly to mono, only to a swivel and then to mono.
I've never tried Power Pro or Sufix. Around the time I went to braid on all my reels there were stories of Power Pro breaking so I stayed away from it. Tried the Fireline first. Was happy with it & stayed with it.@wader How do you like fireline compared to power pro or sufix when it comes to tying it to a mono leader
It doesn't succumb to UV exposure like mono, BUT it does wear out with constant use. I have to cut off a good 20' every month because I fish lures just about every day. Bait fishers get better mileage...BRAIDED LINE does wear out it seems, even 65lb… cellie…
