Anyway, back on topic, none of the five people at the dentist's office where my wife works a few hours a week had any reaction to the Moderna vaccine other than a slightly sore arm.

COVID Vaccination Information​

Riverside is following the guidelines set forth by the Virginia Department of Health and the CDC. We are continuing to work with federal, state and local authorities to coordinate logistics and are working hard to ensure everyone who wants a vaccine can receive one at the appropriate time.

The vaccine is being administered in four phases. We are currently in 1a, which means we are vaccinating healthcare workers and residents of nursing homes and assisted living facilities. In anticipation of the next phases, the Governor and the Virginia Department of Health identified who is eligible in phases 1b and 1c.

There are a few health districts in the state that are moving to phase 1b next week, and we anticipate our local health departments will follow suit soon thereafter, but please be assured Riverside is anxious to vaccinate all of our patients who want the vaccine within each phase as soon as we are directed to do so. Further, as the vaccine becomes available to your particular group, we will do our best to notify you of that availability and share more details of immediate next steps via MyChart.

Once a vial of vaccine is thawed out and opened, we have a limited amount of time in which to administer the vaccine. Because of this, we will vaccinate by appointment. When your phase arrives, we will send you a "ticket" that will allow you to schedule your vaccine appointment.

Our goal is to help patients make the best decisions for their health, and we encourage everyone to continue to keep their appointments to receive ongoing medical care as needed.

We understand there is an overwhelming amount of information available about the vaccines, and we will continue to inform the community of what’s happening at the local level, and how exactly that information will impact you.

Every day I have to ask people to pull up their masks or get out of the store.
Had one guy spit in my face. Chased him out with my bat. I get tired of telling the idiots that I personally don't care if they die from the corona, good riddence, but I do care about all the other customers that come in afterwards.

Please, put on a mask. If not for your self, for the sake of the people around you.

Awwww you know you missed this thread when some ADMIN did what he had to do

Had my first shot in December. Scheduled for my second next week. No side effects to report. Just a sore shoulder for a day.

Surprisingly, a good number of my colleagues are refusing the vaccine. These are educated people who work in very high risk areas. My guess is they feel they were exposed and already have antibodies. I got vaccinated because my antibody test came back negative.

Even with the vaccine, I will continue to follow all protocols as if I didnt.

Funny thing is, I went fishing the other day and wore my mask all day because it kept my face warm! lol
