Coronavirus

Been on the computer & phone most of the morning trying to get a vaccine appointment, best we could do was August.
Dates got filled yesterday when the age was 75, now that the age has been lowered trying to get a date is a real joke.

Yeah, I just gave up trying for the shot for now. Maybe when its available at more than just 4 places in all of Nassau County (?) I am definitely NOT travelling to the city. This dropping to age 65 yesterday took me by surprise. Jones Beach is booked solid through April 17 and I read somewhere that appointments elsewhere are booked into August. I can not see our European cruise in September happening. I guess its another year of kayaking, surfcasting, using my backyard pool and boat, getting takeout, and wearing a mask while grocery shopping.
 
John, what website were you on? Northwell Health??? I was just trying there and I just get errors on their pages for Suffolk. I read that NYU Langone will be doing shots, but nothing on their website or on my portal. This is absurd. Where did you find a website for Jones Beach? Thanks

Ny state covid. But all booked to April something
 
My employer expects our vaccine shipment shortly - unfortunately I'm indirect care and not eligible.
We went with Moderna.

I went to Northwell Health, like you found all booked up, then kept trying Google for testing sites, sometimes click on "check eligible" & that will lead to a booked up site. Just tried to google Jones Beach Vaccine & found my way to thei
 
A bill introduced by a New York State Assemblyman would give Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) the authority to remove or detain someone deemed a threat to the public health amid concerns over the coronavirus pandemic.

He'll put them in jail...where they released everyone over concerns they'd catch Corona

It is one. I’m not sure what the deal is. I’m sure it involves money.

I feel bad for the older folks that have multiple health issues and are waiting for their turn.
