Happening here too. Plumbers going crazy because PFA (People From Away) including Snowbirds, Massholes, CT, PA, DC, VA and NY have called them demanding their summer houses readied NOW!! There went our nice and peaceful spring, local Mom & Pop grocery store swamped with the "foreigners".
Normal folk here buy what they need, these Mongolian Hordes raided the store and emptied the shelves. Just crazy, owner and workers in absolute shock. Friend who works in a shop in another town watched 2 women, both PFAs, actually fighting over the last bottle of hand sanitizer. Guess they never heard about soap and warm water...

AFAIK, SW Suffolk and SE Nassau County have had no toilet paper and no sanitizers, not even aloe or alcohol in any grocery stores or pharmacies for at least 10 days. Haven't seen paper towels or even Cheerios lately either. Was it different out east and "up there?" (Until the citidiots got there?) Yes, it was pretty much "normal" up here until the Barbarian Citidiot Hordes descended upon us, which began the end of last week. Maybe you couldn't find your favorite brand of TP or sanitizer, but there was always something on the shelves.
FWIW, there's no shortage of gasoline right now and I'm loving the sub-$2 per gallon prices.

I was at a meeting for work in Baltimore last Monday-Wednesday. This coming Wednesday makes 14 days. Hoping I’m fine.
