They're trying to protect you NOT hurt you.

We are coming up on the 7th month since the vax was first administered. Some say protection is waning. That should be the focus since it's our only weapon in this fight.

That reminds me, waiting to see the claims that need for a booster post 8 months is because the batteries on the "tracking devices" are running low...

What your going to get is the same old same old

distrust of the govt
Distrust of the fda and their approval process
Simply because those are the seeds that have been sown

at this point ppl don’t trust the process or the institutions involved in the process

remember way back when a year ago
It was
“ trumps” vacine
Rushed and flawed
The trump White House was pushing the fda
No one trustee trumps cdc

I didn’t sow those seeds

I'll see your bluff... I swear on my copy of "On the Origin of Species" the following is correct and up to date.

I gave blood last month so no Hep B, Hep C, HIV, HTLV I, HTLV II, etc. No Herpes to my knowledge, too old for the vaccine.

I've had every "important" vaccine and up to date for the periodic ones (2 jabs of the Moderna COVID mRNA vaccine, Polio, Smallpox, Hepatitis B, MMR, DPT, Shingles, Meningitis, yearly Flu, Swine Flu) and some unimportant things like Hepatitis A.

I had natural infections for Mumps, Chicken Pox and Measles (was sick as a dog), but avoided Rubella until the vaccine was available, which I got.

No major health issues, but am a few lbs overweight, righted that wrong from Obese thanks to losing 50 lbs over 2019/20, life-long seasonal allergies, GERD which has been going on for 30 years and now that I'm getting on in years, the "Force" is no longer with me due to normal age-related BPH.

Daily medications - Statin, Baby Aspirin, Proton Pump Inhibitor for GERD, Flonase, Rapaflo (prostatic Midichlorians for us "mature" gentlemen).

No drug or substance addictions. I did "INHALE" while in college in the 70s...

2 hernia repairs and a jaw surgery to fix a severe overbite, no broken bones, no other surgeries

That's it, pretty boring. You going to show us yours?

I agree with you regarding the lack of privacy. HIPPA seems to have taken a back seat here and thats unfortunate.

Those who refuse the vax should not be singled out but it seems many are being shamed or mandated into going against their beliefs, I get it. Not the American way but is there another way?

As far as privacy, once medical records went electronic, all bets are off. Not as private as they once were.

You were wondering if any of us very pro-vaccine folks had any medical reasons for pimping them, and as you can see, I don't, as I don't have any high-risk medical conditions.

So why did I get vaccinated? I did it as the only appropriate response to a Public Health Crisis, along with wearing my mask and avoiding large indoor gatherings, something I never stopped doing post-vaccination. My professional experience also dictated that I got vaccinated, as I do have experience with all of the Hepatitis viruses, some you haven't even heard of, HIV, HTLVs, Flus, HPV, RSV, and other nasties and have learned that you don't screw with viruses especially in light of the unique and wonderful fact that we have highly-effective and safe vaccines for COVID.

It is beyond my comprehension why some folks would object to getting vaccinated, and now they've lost their flimsy "It's not FDA approved yet" excuse. I got both Polio and Swine Flu before they were approved and I'm still kicking. I especially liked the Polio oral vaccine because they put a drop of the vaccine into a sugar cube, that was a real treat for a youngster of 10!!

Many complain that the younger generation of today are way too self-indulgent, only worried about "what's in it for me?" Well anyone without a valid medical condition who refuses to get vaccinated against COVID is just as selfish and self-indulgent, clearly demonstrating that they don't care about anyone but themselves.

And yes, I'm a callous SOB taking great delight when vocal anti-vaxxers succumb to the virus. Do any of you feel bad when you find out someone died from playing Russian Roulette? Same thing...
