Your on guard and you see someone walk a hillside a mile away until he disappears around some rocks. 15 min later you are taking small arms fire from the same general area. This happens almost daily for a month. You don’t dare shoot this person without seeing he’s armed and shooting at you do to compassion for the civilians by your command and the possibility of charges of murder being brought against you. One morning same routine except your battle buddy gets hit in his side, he’s also your field medic. He tells you what to do while apologizing right up until he passes.
A few days later here comes the same guy a mile off on a ridge. What do you do?

I’m going to leave you and the Mutt below you with that. Compassion wins no wars and your reason is not based on logic but compassion for every argument I’ve seen in this thread.

Don’t want to put yourself in that position? Well like most compassionate souls even Wader when asked the answer is the same. They would jump the gun and not follow orders. How can you blame anyone for not wanting to? Well that guy walking was a farmer. His goats were on the back side of hill up the switchback. Enemy would wait till he passed to engage.

As far as going to other countries for HIV treatment.......Simply put.....the US has a stricter MORAL and ETHICAL code when it comes to medical treatment. The US actually requires you to have a medical license to practice medicine......not so in other countries.
