Retirement is way underrated. Know of far too many who put it off to maximize benefits and then croaked. Best ten years, four months and 21 days of my life.

TAKING A PENSION AND RETIRing for good are different things......I have been collecting a pension for over ten years (retired at 50 after 30 years).....but this time I'll retire for good....and take another pension hehe!

I retired at 55. Had the best 10 years and then, WHAM, 4 stents 2 weeks before my 65th birthday. Nothing but problems after that. If you can do it, retire as soon as you can. Wait and the enhanced benefits are useless since your best retirement years are in the rear view mirror.
