also, I heard some folks that are getting a bad reaction to the second does of Moderna probably had the virus already. Not sure if that’s accurate or not. Dom if you’re reading this what are your thoughts?

No reaction for our cruise partners or either SWMBO or I from the Moderna booster. Percentages favor getting the Mrna vaccines over the traditional (J&J) (94% vs, 85% efficacy.) Anyway, its over a week already from the second shot for us and we are all retired so going back for the second shot was no big deal. Simply put: Get whichever as soon as you can.

Out of the blue, NYU-Langone came up with loads of vaccine. I went on my portal and got an appointment (there were tons of them available) for shot 1 this afternoon. Hope my toes don't fall off and my nose turn green from the vaccine.

6 of us, vacation buddies, all over 65 of course, have gotten both shots of Moderna. Nothing but a sore arm for a couple of days for all 6. SWMBO knows of just 3 people that were ill the next day.

Dom...please clear this up for me...can you catch covid 19 from this vaccine......I say NO...but I have someone here at work who is insisting he knows people who did.....I say BS

Absolutely NOT from the 3 US-authorized vaccines. That being said, they're may be some third world vaccines that try using attenuated virus, which could lead to the possibility of getting COVID-19 if something got screwed up in manufacture.

The US vaccines trick your body's immune system into thinking it's got a COVID infection, ergo the symptoms which are common to your body fighting off any infection.
