Fast Food

I had to try them, I was told they taste just like Jack-in- the-box tacos! As teens after partying all night we used to go to Jacks to eat, it was the only place in town open. Burger King nailed it! They taste just as bad as I remember Jacks tasted ?

I tried one a few weeks ago, it was not good - but not as bad as their hot dog. They should stick to burgers and let Taco Bell handle them.

Agree but that not the goal, they want to offer a different , nasty , late night taco that can cure a hangover, like the old Jax taco.

iF THEY taste like Jack in da box I gotta try then I loved Jack iin da box

They are very close, just samller and a little bit less greasier.
If they were biggerand more loaded , they would be spot on.

Micky D's not fairing very well there

I think it is somewhat impacted by volume which wasn't factored in at all. Lower volume makes it easier for fresh ingredients, especially in CA where they grow EVERYTHING. Still thought the rankings were interesting, McD fatigue is also a piece of it.

Yeah butt, I never eat at those places anyway and Astoria has some of the best little, inexpensive eats anywhere in the 5 hoods... cellie...

.
Not so much anymore, property rents have gone through the roof. Influx of young Manhattanites. Building, building; sometimes it’s like living next to a construction site.

There is still one that meets your criteria and that’s Cronin & Phelans; Broadway just off Steinway, generous portions, very good quality and modest prices.
