'that would have initially freaked me out Tony - glad that;s what's causing it - would never have thought

Our initial google search revealed it might be a CO issue which was very concerning and then digging deeper we found out about the hard water in the humidifier.

Nice having a new tight house although I did turn the heat on till the fire got good and going again this morning. Yesterday I walked the dogs in shorts and today hat, gloves and scarf.

Got home about 9pm from a R/T to CT to bring my son back to school
Left home about 9:30 this morning
Still had enuf embers glowing to get her uo and cranking again!!!

Welp, I guess its a good a day as any to roll out the splitter today
I have enough empty space now for 2 split cords and a mountain of wood that ain’t gonna split and stack itself ?‍?

Welp, I didnt end up doing it last weekend but 3 hours yesterday and another 3 today and I split and stacked this pile thats over a cord

26 going to 18 with a "hellhound wind" - stove going since 11:30 am this morning - average house temperature (measured by the thermostate in the hallway about 30 feet from the stove & just past the kitchen)with no additional heat sources going 67...............

Woke up to a temp of 0 ?
Got most of the house up to comfy 72 but the one back “wing” is slow to get warmed up
Its like a long bowling ally. 2 sides are exterior walls, one is against the garage and it has a vaulted ceiling
Its the most challenging area during these deep cold snaps
