You got me there Gene, thought it was Winslow Homer who had a studio in Maine, but turns out to be Edward Moran who was based out of Philly when he painted this. Decent homology to my digging as I do it among large rocks...

The Wyeths are the major artistic dynasty in these parts. When I visit the local lighthouse on sunny, late afternoon, and gaze ENE, the sun catches the house in this iconic painting of Andrew Wyeth...

The Wyeth Family Cabin on Monhegan Island is noteworthy in that they have the jaws from a large GWS hanging on the front porch. Long have I fantasized on "liberating Bruce's Dental Work" in fulfillment of my own decorative desires...

Good Morning NYA!! Hope everyone has a wonderful day!!

Thanks Gene, but I never got out to play in the mud yesterday. A meeting opportunity I've been trying to organize for a while popped up so no raw bar at Chez Roccus last night. I have to wait a few weeks for another opportune daylight tide. Hope the weather Gods oblige me; yesterday was gorgeous, high 20s, sunny, no wind and the ice that was in the river broke up and washed out with the outgoing tide.

Yeah clamming here in the winter is a multi-variable equation...
