think I saw this last year and liked it. We are now finishing up Manifest, but God only knows why, lol. I did enjoy Extraction2.

Blood & Gold
Contrived, mindless but hey - killing Nazis isn't a bad thing..........................

Blood & Gold is a German War Crime Drama film about a small village where at the bitter end of World War II, a German deserter and a young woman are drawn into bloody battle with a group of Nazis hunting for hidden gold.

The setting would give you the feeling of Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds and it definitely has that touch.

Dubbed.

Manifest - Season 4 & serieds finale
Finished up the finale blockbuster size Series Finale(30 episodes in all split into two parts) - brought it to a satisfying conclusion.

Wife and I binged the fourth season over the last few nights. At the conclusion we turned to each other and simultaneously remarked that we never saw a series end as well. (Maybe MASH ?) Unlike Sopranos, Game of Thrones, Lost and others, the final episode (no spoilers here) was simply terrific giving all the main characters a final scene. I have to Google it to see if that final episode was written four seasons back, I am just that curious. SWMBO was mad at me for not being that enthused about watching the final season, as I did not think the third season lived up to the first one and a half, but she has got to feel vindicated now !

Edited to add: The reviews of the second half of the final season are lackluster but it does seem like the finale was planned from the get-go. But like so many reviews, they can be taken with a grain of salt, if not the whole shaker. granted, this was not the second coming of "Band of Brothers" or "Breaking Bad" but overall an entertaining series that gave the two of us at least a satisfying outcome and ending.

thought it was a good conclusion

The Mother

I liked it. I've never really seen anything with Lopez it. She was pretty good & definately has the body for the role she was playing. It was a bit over top & contrived at times but overall very enjoyable & extremely fast paced..

I'd recommend it

It was OK. although its 20 years old, I liked her in a movie called "Enough"

Now bingeing "The OA." really weird but we have watched 10 of the 16 episodes.

"We" watch a LOT of TV shows and movies. While I do not ordinarily watch anything twice (except Saving Private Ryan, Jaws, Band of Brothers, Magnificent Seven, etc.) I rarely can tell you much about them over time.) While SWMBO won't watch it with me, I do want to see Gal Gadot's new movie. and off topic, but I am a real fan of "Lioness" on Paramount+.

Just watched "Heart of Stone." Sort of a Jane, not James, Bond. Formulaic, knew the good "gal" would win, but nonetheless entertaining. If you like Gal Gadot add a plus.

put it on "the List" the other day - read where there's a possibilty Netflix may make it into an action series........

The Watcher

I thought it was quite good. Thriller from Ryan Murphy (American Horror Story). Losely based on a true story with an interesting cast.

The Watcher is an American mystery thriller television series created by Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan for Netflix.[3] It premiered on October 13, 2022.[4] It is loosely based on a 2018 article by Reeves Wiedeman for New York magazine's website The Cut.[4][5] Despite being originally conceived as a miniseries, The Watcher was renewed for a second season in November 2022.

The series follows a married couple who, after moving into their dream home in a fictionalized version of Westfield, New Jersey, are harassed by creepy letters signed by a stalker who goes by the pseudonym "The Watcher"
Give it a whirl.

We finished it the other night. SWMBO disappointed with the ending which I found funny since its based on a true story. Very good character actors who have very lengthy resumes. Never been a Bobby C. fan but he is OK in this.

We started watching "Who is Erin Carter" last night. Limited series of 7 episodes. Sort of like a ' Jason Borne' scenario except Erin definitely remembers who she was / is. I want to see more tonight. SWMBO is 50/50.
